Epic! The setting for this wedding could not have been any more perfect. It took place in Cornerstone Colorado.
Fall was in full force with a touch of snow. Michelle and James are amazing people. I met them when I first moved
to Montrose and felt very privileged to shoot their wedding with Jamie. Their kindness is something I will always
remember, may you two enjoy the many years ahead of you.

Two little cuties! They kept me on my feet, but they were sweet!
It was delightful to spend my evening with them. Their cute little faces and playing on
Granddad’s tractor reminded my of my childhood . . . climbing up into my
Grandpa’s tractor pretending,exploring, and having fun. Children are such blessings!

One thing that is evident about this couple is their joy, especially when they are together!
They met at an auction where Rachel picked Jim, and after that the rest was history.
Their wedding day was beautiful, the fall colors . . . absolutely stunning!
Nestled in the mountains just outside Ridgeway, as they began to say their vows,
the rain began to trickle down.
Every one made it inside just as it began to pour.
As the guests settled the bride and groom stood facing each other, their expressions changed from excited
to solemn, from joy to tears, and then to rejoicing!
The evening was filled with good food, cake and dancing. The toasts that were shared were another
testament to their joy in finding a mate. A toast to many happy years to come!

We woke up to snow on the San Juan mountains, a cool, crisp and magnificent morning.
Arriving at a spacious and impressive cabin near the Divide Ranch in Ridgeway, we were greeted by the bride’s parents.
There was still much to be done, and things were moved inside as the rain began to pour.
There was no sign of a break in the clouds. The ladies began to get ready upstairs,
and though emotions were high, spirits were calm. I enjoyed listening to the talking, and the prayers as
the morning carried on. This young couple that has dedicated themselves to one another and the Lord were a joy to watch
on their wedding day. A perfect pair. As the time for the ceremony drew near,
the clouds parted and the blue skies shone through. A many quick and strong hand made fast work
to get everything set up outside, and the bride joined her groom in nearly perfect weather. They were virtually
inseparable for the remainder of the evening. What a joy to be surrounded by many loving friends and family!
May the Lord richly bless you both! And thank you for letting us be a part of your day.

What an amazing summer! We have been blessed with the most wonderful kind hearted clients. Every wedding has been such a joy full of lasting memories. People ask us “Why wedding photography?” My answer is always “Moments.” We get to spend sometimes 13 hours with a client and their family on a very special day. Pressing the shutter on your camera and capturing one of those many captivating moments of is an amazing feeling. Soon we will post a best of 2011 post full of many of those wonderful moments. Such a sweet, thoughtful, and loving couple.
We were blessed with lovely weather, though storms had been rolling in every afternoon
for a while; this day was perfect. Wendy was blessed with beautiful clouds, but no downpour.
Their fondest looks were reserved for each other, and
these were sweet to see. It’s always exciting for me to look for the expression of the groom
when he first sees his bride. With Jon, that loving smile and excited expression didn’t leave his face.
Through the night I would see them exchange looks and smile.
So excited for you guys!
We hope you thoroughly enjoyed your wedding;
